This Privacy Policy explains how Lynn Living LLC ("Lynn Living," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information through thelynnshow.com, The Lynn Show, Lynn's Library, The Verdict, including its Bask or Burn reader-response component, The Book World, publishing inquiries, guest applications, paid features, sponsorships and related communications.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Your name, preferred name, email address, telephone number, location, time zone and social-media handles.
- Guest, reader, author, publisher, sponsor or business-application responses.
- Book titles, descriptions, publication details, retailer or other purchase links, author biographies and business or event information.
- Files you upload, including manuscripts, advance reader copies, PDFs, book covers, headshots, logos and promotional materials.
- Scheduling information, correspondence, support requests and feedback.
- Transaction details such as the package purchased, amount, payment status and billing contact information. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not received or stored by Lynn Living LLC.
- Audio, video, chat and production materials created when you participate in a recording, livestream, interview or other feature.
Information collected automatically. When you use the website, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, date and time of access, cookie identifiers and website-performance information.
2. How We Use Information

Submitting an application does not make it public. Application materials are used for review and coordination. If you are selected or purchase an approved service, the materials authorized for your feature may be published and promoted as described in your approval email, package or separate agreement.
3. Forms and Uploaded Materials
Our application and community forms are hosted by a third-party form platform. Lynn Living LLC controls the purposes for which form responses are collected and used, while that provider processes and stores the responses on our behalf.
Where a form offers an optional mailing-list opt-in, ticking that box passes your email address, and where provided your name, to a third-party email service provider that stores and manages our mailing lists on our behalf. This happens only if you tick the box. Leaving it unticked means your form response is reviewed as normal and no mailing-list record is created.
Please upload only material you are authorized to share. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification, financial-account credentials, medical records or other highly sensitive information unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure process.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. That provider may collect payment-card details, billing information, device information and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy practices. We receive transaction information needed to confirm and fulfill the purchase, but we do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. The processor is identified at the point of checkout.
5. Scheduling, Recording and Communications
We use third-party services for scheduling, for remote audio and video recording, and for calendars and email. Information you provide through those services is also subject to the relevant provider's privacy policy, which is available from the service you are using at the time.
When a session is recorded, participants will be informed through the booking, guest information, recording platform or production communications. Approved recordings may be edited, distributed and promoted through The Lynn Show, Lynn's Library and their media channels in accordance with the participant's agreement or authorization.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies needed for site operation, security, preferences and analytics. A third-party analytics service may use cookies or similar identifiers to help us understand visits, traffic sources and interactions with the website.

Operational messages about applications, bookings, purchases, production or support are not marketing messages. If you subscribe to newsletters or promotional communications, you may unsubscribe through the link in the message or contact us at hello@thelynnshow.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary transactional or service communications.
The Lynn's Library Network is an optional mailing list for authors, publishers and book professionals, carrying occasional updates such as episode launches, collaboration opportunities and industry news. You join it only by ticking the opt-in box on one of our forms, and every message includes an unsubscribe link. Applying to be a guest, submitting a publishing inquiry or purchasing a feature does not add you to it.
9. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including application review, production, publication, customer service, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, legal compliance and protection of our rights. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and our legal or operational needs.
