Lynn's Library Publishing

Publishing Submission
& Services Terms

Lynn Living LLC, operating Lynn's Library Publishing
LLmedia@thelynnshow.com

Effective date: August 4, 2026

These Publishing Submission and Services Terms ("Publishing Terms") apply to publishing inquiries, manuscript samples and publishing-related services offered by Lynn Living LLC through Lynn's Library Publishing ("Lynn's Library Publishing," "we," "us" or "our").

An inquiry is not a publishing agreement. Submitting a manuscript, sample or form does not obligate us to accept, edit, publish, distribute, market or provide feedback on a project. No publishing work begins until both parties approve and sign a separate written project agreement.

1. Relationship to Other Terms

These Publishing Terms supplement our Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Payments for approved services may also be subject to our Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy.

If a signed publishing agreement or statement of work conflicts with these general Publishing Terms, the signed agreement controls for that project.

2. Eligibility and Authority

Publishing inquiries and services are intended for adults. If a submitter is under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must make or authorize the submission and must sign any project agreement.

If you submit on behalf of an author, company, estate, co-author group or other rights holder, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that party.

3. What You May Submit

Our inquiry form may request contact information, a book title, genre, manuscript status, project description, requested support and optional sample pages. Please submit only the materials requested and only through the designated form or email route.

Do not submit your only copy of a manuscript. You are responsible for maintaining complete backups of everything you provide.

4. Submission Review

We may review a submission for editorial fit, readiness, subject matter, production capacity, legal or reputational risk and the services requested. We may accept, decline, request additional information or choose not to respond where the submission is incomplete, outside our scope or unsuitable for the program.

Review time varies. A submission does not reserve production capacity, establish a deadline or create an exclusive relationship.

5. Confidentiality at the Inquiry Stage

We handle inquiry materials in accordance with our Privacy Policy and do not make an unpublished submission public merely because it was submitted. However, ordinary submissions are not accepted under a legal duty of confidentiality or a nondisclosure agreement unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing before receiving the confidential material.

Please do not submit trade secrets, highly sensitive personal information or confidential third-party material through the general inquiry form.

6. Similar Ideas and Independent Projects

Books and creative projects may share themes, settings, genres, titles, character types or general ideas. Reviewing your submission does not prevent Lynn Living LLC or others from developing, publishing or working with material that is independently created or lawfully obtained and happens to contain similar unprotected ideas or elements.

Nothing in this section permits us to copy your protected expression or use your manuscript outside the limited review process without authorization.

7. Your Ownership

You retain ownership of your manuscript and other original materials submitted for review. Submission alone does not assign copyright, publishing rights, royalties, subsidiary rights or ownership to Lynn Living LLC.

Any exclusive license, assignment or transfer of publishing or copyright interests must be stated in a separate written agreement signed by the applicable rights holder. Unless that agreement expressly says otherwise, the author retains the underlying copyright.

8. Limited Permission to Review

By submitting materials, you give Lynn Living LLC a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free permission to store, copy internally and share the materials with personnel or contractors only as reasonably necessary to evaluate the inquiry, communicate with you and prepare a possible proposal.

This review permission does not authorize public publication, commercial distribution or sale of the manuscript and ends when the material is no longer reasonably needed for review or recordkeeping, subject to our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

9. Your Assurances

You confirm, to the best of your knowledge, that:

10. Content We May Decline

We may decline or stop reviewing material that is unlawful, infringing, plagiarized, deceptive, threatening, discriminatory, exploitative, defamatory, materially misleading or inconsistent with our editorial standards. We may also decline projects requiring expertise, permissions, fact-checking or legal review beyond our available capacity.

11. Separate Project Agreement Required

If we wish to proceed, we will provide or approve a separate written publishing agreement, service agreement, proposal or statement of work. Depending on the project, that agreement should identify:

No item is included merely because it appears in this list. It is included only if the signed project agreement says it is.

12. Scope, Changes and Revisions

Only services identified in the signed project agreement are included. Additional editing, design, formatting, research, permissions, file conversion, printing, distribution, marketing or revision work may require a written change order, additional fee and revised schedule.

Feedback and revisions must be provided within the time and format stated in the project agreement. Delayed materials, approvals or responses may move the schedule.

13. Editorial and Production Responsibilities

We will perform approved services using reasonable professional care. The author or client remains responsible for reviewing proofs, confirming names and facts, obtaining required permissions and giving final approval before release unless a signed agreement provides otherwise.

Editing, proofreading and design reduce errors but do not guarantee that a work will be completely error-free. Corrections requested after final approval or publication may involve additional costs and may be limited by retailer, printer or distributor systems.

14. ISBNs, Copyright Registration and Legal Review

ISBN assignment, copyright registration, Library of Congress filings, permissions, legal review and other registrations are included only when expressly stated in the signed project agreement.

We do not provide legal advice. The author or client is responsible for obtaining independent legal review where a manuscript presents material copyright, trademark, privacy, defamation, confidentiality or other legal concerns.

15. Printing, Distribution and Retail Platforms

Printing, print-on-demand, ebook conversion, audiobook production, distribution and retailer placement are included only when expressly stated in the project agreement. Third-party printers, distributors and retailers control their own specifications, acceptance decisions, pricing rules, availability, reporting, content policies and account requirements.

We cannot guarantee that a retailer or platform will accept, continue carrying, rank, display or keep a book available, or that printed copies will be identical across production runs.

16. Marketing and Results

Marketing, publicity, podcast appearances, website listings, advertising and social-media support are included only when expressly stated in the project agreement.

We do not guarantee book sales, bestseller status, reviews, awards, press coverage, retailer placement, audience growth, rankings, engagement, income or any other commercial result.

17. Fees and Third-Party Costs

Fees and payment dates will be stated in the project agreement or invoice. Unless expressly included, third-party expenses such as printing, shipping, ISBN purchases, copyright fees, stock assets, fonts, distribution charges, advertising and specialist services are separate and require approval before they are incurred.

Payment does not begin a project until the required agreement is signed, the initial payment clears and requested materials are received.

18. Cancellations, Refunds and Project Closure

Cancellation, refund, rescheduling, suspension and termination rights will be governed by the signed project agreement and, where applicable, our Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy. Any refund or credit may account for completed work and documented non-recoverable costs, subject to applicable law.

If a client does not provide required materials, approvals or responses after reasonable written follow-up, we may pause or close the project as permitted by the signed agreement. Closing a project does not transfer ownership of the author's underlying manuscript.

19. Contractors and Service Providers

We may use qualified editors, designers, formatters, proofreaders, production contractors and technology providers to evaluate or perform an approved project. Access will be limited to what is reasonably needed for their role, subject to appropriate confidentiality expectations and our Privacy Policy.

20. Publicity and Portfolio Use

We will not publicly announce an unpublished project or use the author's name, likeness, cover or excerpts for marketing merely because an inquiry was submitted. Publicity, portfolio use and promotional permissions for an accepted project will be stated in the signed agreement or separately approved in writing.

21. Responsibility for Rights Claims

To the extent permitted by law, the author or client is responsible for claims, losses or costs resulting from material knowingly supplied without the necessary rights or permissions, or from a material breach of the assurances in Section 9. We will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim and will not require acceptance of a settlement imposing obligations on the author or client without consent.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lynn Living LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential losses resulting solely from an unaccepted inquiry, a third-party platform decision or a service not included in the signed project agreement.

Nothing in these Publishing Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including responsibility arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct or violations of non-waivable rights.

23. Governing Law

These Publishing Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing here deprives a consumer of protections, remedies or a forum that applicable law does not permit the consumer to waive.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Publishing Terms as our services or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. An update will not retroactively change a previously signed project agreement.
